In 2005, more than 40,000 people congregated at Mumbai’s Nehru Centre to visit the first Autocar Performance Show. Since then, every year, the show has been getting bigger and better. In 2009 over 80,000 visitors visited the show. A growing list of reputed exhibitors like Rolls Royce, BMW, Volvo, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Yamaha and TVS necessitated an even larger venue at Mumbai’s MMRDA grounds. The reason for this phenomenal growth is due to the fact that this is not just another auto show.

In 2005, more than 40,000 people congregated at Mumbai’s Nehru Centre to visit the first Autocar Performance Show. Since then, every year, the show has been getting bigger and better. In 2009 over 80,000 visitors came to the show. A growing list of reputed exhibitors Audi, Bajaj, BMW, Chevrolet, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar – Land Rover Lamborghini, Mahindra, Mitsubishi, Porsche, Yamaha and TVS prompted the organisers to switch to a larger venue at Mumbai’s MMRDA grounds. The reason for this phenomenal growth is because this is not just another auto show.

The Autocar Performance Show is one-of-a-kind, dedicated to the car and bike enthusiasts in this country. It is a show that celebrates the sensual over the sensible, the extravagant rather than the economical and spectacular scores over sober.

Now here are 10 good reason for you not to miss APS 2010.

1. The Supercar Gallery: You have seen them in posters. You have seen them in Hollywood films. You have seen them in coffee-table books. But still they are guaranteed to make your heart a skip a beat and your jaw hit the floor when you see these beauties in the flesh. Cars penned by Italian designers obsessed with Sophia Loren and Monica Bellucci. Madcap motors engineered by Germans under the influence of Oktoberfest. Vehicles designed by Americans dreaming of world dominance. Can you guess what these cars are? Come and check your answers at the Performance Show. We assure you it will be worth your plane ticket.

2. The Royal Garage: Mumbai’s Navnit Motor has built a reputation for catering to the exacting demands of the rich and famous. Now check out those royal chariots from their garage that deliver an iron fist under the velvet glove. The new Rolls Royce Ghost. The iconic BMW 7-Series that marries adrenalin-pumping performance with opulent comfort. And this gentlemen, is just part of the garage.

3. M&M Track Experience: Get into a Mahindra SUV and get the ultimate off-road experience. Get into the thick of action on a specially created track with mud, slush, gravel, water and obstacles to challenge vehicle and driver. Great help if you are preparing for the Paris-Dakkar Rally.

4. JBL Beach Party: There’s a certain music in the burble of a V12. But JBL’s Beach Party at the Performance Show is going to stick to the more conventional kind of music like rock and hip-hop. Crazy cars plus headbanging music plus beach party equals one kickass experience.

5. Power Doctors: How do you wring out that last ounce of bhp from an engine? How do you extract that extra burst of acceleration out of your machine? How do you turn Dr.Jekyll into Mr.Hyde? Bolt-on exhausts, air-filters, spoilers, sport-seats, NOS kits, custom shocks, modded cam heads, ECU tuning are just some of the answers. Meet the big daddies of tuning and performance enhancement kits at the Performance Show.

6. Toys for Boys: Stamp your personality into your car with a basket of after-market gizmos and accessories. From entertainment systems to driving aids to cosmetic makeovers, there’s something for everyone.

7. Bikeworld: You normally see them only in posters. Now see them for yourself. These are not the fill it-shut it-forget it types of bikes. These are the big boys.

8. The Kotak Lounge: You don’t just have to lust after all the heavy metal on show here. You can make them yours. Kotak car finance will be hand to make it a reality for you.

9. The Surprise Specials: Yes there are some surprises waiting for you at the Performance Show. We have been sworn to secrecy about the machines that will be unveiled here. All we can say is that India will see it here first, at the Performance Show.

10. The Autocar Experience: Come meet the people who put together your favourite auto magazine. Come meet up with a community of enthusiasts for whom driving is a religion. Come make friends, widen your horizons, feel the fuel pump through your veins and enjoy yourself.

Xanadu Broadway Show is a Hit

Once again, the stage of Broadway theatres is going to rock with the echo of applause. Once again, Broadway is going to experience one more smashing hits of its time. We are talking about “Xanadu” – the enchanting musical love story that’s all set to charm you like no other.

This 90-minute musical-cum-comedy-cum-romantic story shows how dreams can be made real. Depicting the 1980 culture, this show is all about great music, romance, jealousy, and ambition. Sonny, an avid dreamer has a smashing idea of opening a Roller Disco. He is so determined to fulfill his dream that he calls upon Kira, a magical beauty from the heavens, to help her.

But, when Kira starts getting romantically attracted to Sonny, it gives her sisters a chance to bring out the green-eyed monsters in them. What follows is a series of hilarious scenes that leaves the audience rolling on their sides with laughter.

Kerry Butler has done a fantastic job on stage as Kira. Director Christopher Ashley is no match for words. His wonderful direction has made this show packed with audience.

“Xanadu” has some real good music. You hear it once; you will want to hear it once again; and then again, and again! The tunes simply refuse to stop buzzing in your minds. The show has superb songs such as “Magic”, “I’m Alive”, “Party All Over the World”, “Xanadu”, “Suddenly”, “All Over The World”, “Have You Never Been Mellow”, and “Evil Woman”. They are taken from the movie “Xanadu” starring Gene Kelly and Olivia Newton-John.

It is the best dose for those in doldrums. Your spirit will get lifted and you will feel a breeze of motivation touch you. This story is perfect for kids, teens, adults, and the old – just for anyone. It snatches your blues and shows you the brighter side of life.

As you watch the talented and ambitious Sonny struggle to make his dreams see the light of the day, you feel as if it’s your own story. Everyone has dreams, but not everyone has the guts to make them true. Each one of us needs a source of inspiration. Such is the case with the character Sonny. Hence, Kira comes in the scene as a source of inspiration.

The biggest quality of “Xanadu” is that it relates with the audience. As the character come to life on stage, the people seated to watch the show begin to get connected with what’s happening in the story. You get a feel of your own life.

“Xanadu” is a must-see for all the young, ambitious people who are struggling to prove themselves to the world. Douglas Beane, the renowned storyteller has been successful in sending this message across the audience.

So, pick your phone and dial a number to order the tickets. Or, just as you read this, you can order online. There is more certainty of getting tickets this way than going to the box office and waiting in the long line.

So, catch your dreams with “Xanadu”!

Why do so many RVers flock to Quartzite, Arizona, in January each year? Because of the Quartzite Annual Sports, Vacation and RV Show, the biggest gathering of motor home enthusiasts in the world. For about a week, this sleepy little desert burg becomes a thriving metropolis of motor home aficionados and other folks who want to get away from the cold. It’s a huge social event with activities and all sorts of fun. Anybody who’s been will tell you that it’s paradise for RV lovers!

This event was started 25 years ago, and it just grows bigger every year. At the 2008 show this past January, there were more than 150,000 folks enjoying the festivities.

The event is held on 20 acres of Quartzite, with a 70,000 square foot indoor area where you can get some shade. Inside, you’ll find booths with all kinds of goods for sale and food, as well as live entertainment every day of the week.

Although it gets bigger each year, last year there were about 300 motor home sites available for show-goers. They are fully equipped with electricity, water and sewerage services. In addition to these sites, there are over 100 locations available outside of the main exhibition area, as well as lots of good RV parks, campsites and motels in the general area.

Still, it’s always best to stay right in the middle of this “RV city” if you can. Parking your motor home there is absolutely free, you just need to apply beforehand and reserve your spot.

Aside from all the goods and live entertainment, the show is known for its craft show and car show. The craft show is in a special space inside the main tent with handmade crafts from all over the country, including the Rock And Gem Show, where you can see metals from all over the country. The craft shows include unique, do-it-yourself crafts, so you can learn something while you enjoy the show! Participants are invited to contribute their own crafts to the show, and you can get an application by contacting the promoters.

Held each year on the last few days of the show, the Rock And Roll Classic Car Show is another of Quartzite’s major events. Folks bring their hot vintage cars from all over the country to show off, and there’s quite a lot to see. You’ll see custom cars, classics, hot rods, muscle cars and other beauties from the past. There is a fee to get in to the car show, but it’s well worth it, and group and family rates are available.

Quartzite is located in southwestern Arizona right up against the California border, putting it right in the middle of America’s best motor home country. It is on Highway 10 west of Phoenix, and just south of Lake Havasu. To reserve a spot at next year’s show, download and print the application form found at Quartzite’s RV show website. Be sure to follow all the directions they give and you’re sure to have a good time.

Catch Bluephoria at This Las Vegas Show

The Blue Man Group Las Vegas show is a truly unique experience, unlike anything else you will find along the Las Vegas Strip. Absent are the loud, over-the-top costumes, usually fastened to the bodies of Las Vegas showgirls and showboys. In their place are three men, adorned in basic black utilitarian clothing and plastered from head to toe in bright blue paint. These men, who have no hair or ears, speak no words. This could lead you to think that the show would be a huge bore. Quite the opposite, the entertaining spectacle held at the Venetian Hotel continues to win over crowds in droves and remains one of the most successful Las Vegas shows year after year.

The Blue Men weave comedy, zany science experiments and performance art into the show without the utterance of a single word. It’s all about body language, folks. Use of the eyes, facial expressions and the ever so slight gestures play to the audience, who respond accordingly. Upon entrance into the 1,760-seat custom-built theater, the fun ensues and you know you’re in for a wild ride. You are given crepe paper and encouraged to decorate yourself with it. For the next 90 minutes, you begin to understand why the show is such a hit.

The show continues with drumbeats, wild spray paints on white paper, musical numbers, cool lighting effects and entertaining craziness. An underlying theme of the Blue Man Group Vegas show is the presence of technology in our lives and its effect. The Blue men express the interconnection of the world through the use of huge projection screens and rolling digital signs.

During a 14-show week, Blue Man Group Las Vegas uses:

• 2240 ponchos per week minimum

• 35 pounds of Captain Crunch per week

• 56 Twinkies per week

• 5 bars of Toblerone candy

• 87 1⁄2 gallons of Jello made per week

• 78 gallons of mixed tempera paint

• 490 marshmallows

• 75 cakes of blue makeup

• 42 bald caps

• 80 custom painted drumsticks

• 200 guitar strings

• 60 drumheads

Blue Man Group’s show features a host of hilarious bits that will make you laugh until you cry. One highlight is a tutorial on how to sport the best rock moves at your next concert. If you are looking for a Las Vegas show that goes against the grain, the Blue Man Group extravaganza is your best bet! You won’t be disappointed.

Tickets For The Gwen Stefani Show

Gwen,Stefani,Tickets,See,a,Versatile,Star,Live

Gwen Stefani tickets offer music lovers an opportunity to see a musical star who offers style, glamour, a top-notch stage show and true, classic rock and roll and pop.  Stefani, as is typical with emerging musical icons, started humbly and worked her way up to become the star that she is today, and a look at her life and career provides interesting insight into the making of a soon-to-be legend.

Early Life

Stefani was born in Fullerton, California on October 3, 1969 and grew up in Anaheim, an Orange County community just down the road.  She was raised in a stable home by her mother and father, and enjoyed what many would consider a “normal” childhood with her two brothers.

Stefani had always loved music, and became particularly enthralled with the punk and ska genres that were popular in Southern California at the time.  She always had an effervescent personality, and would spend her days singing and dancing along to her favorite songs at home and with her brothers and friends.

As she moved into her teen-age years, Stefani joined a band named No Doubt that her brother Eric had started in 1987.  She was no stranger to low-level work, though, as she spent time scrubbing floors at the local Dairy Queen and working the makeup counter at a local department store.  She juggled her new band, where she was the co-lead vocalist, her jobs and her education, as she graduated from high school and enrolled at Cal State Fullerton to pursue her degree.

Tragedy

Stefani’s life has been touched with periodic trouble, and her first ordeal was thrown in front of her in 1987, just as No Doubt was getting started, when her vocalist partner, John Spence committed suicide.  The band did not disband, but rather moved Stefani into the lead vocalist role by herself.  No Doubt also added new members, including Tony Kanal, with whom Stefani would traverse through a long-term and turbulent romantic relationship.

Band Progress

As the band played on, their live shows became a big attraction in the local area, and it wasn’t long before Gwen Stefani tickets were a hot item on the club scene, as she was by far the most recognizable face in the band.  They were making a name for themselves slowly-but-surely, and their big break came in 1990 when Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers recorded a demo for them that led to their first major recording contract.

Their first two albums did not sell well, but they did build familiarity with No Doubt’s sound, and that set the stage for their big commercial breakthrough in 1995, when Tragic Kingdom was released, and it reached the top of the album charts.  Since then, No Doubt has released two additional albums, both of which climbed into the top ten on the charts.

Solo Career/Personal Growth

Although Stefani technically remains a member of No Doubt, she has also released two solo albums, the first coming in 2004 and the second in 2006.  She has managed to work her solo work seamlessly into her ongoing work with the band and her ever-expanding personal interests, which include a son with her husband, Gavin Rossdale of the band Bush.  Stefani is happily married after finally ending her troubled relationship with Karal, and her star continues to shine on several fronts.

If you want to see a truly multi-faceted star who’s known for her engaging and energetic shows, Gwen Stefani tickets will introduce you to an artist who is grounded, satisfied and ready to provide an evening to remember for her fans.

Watch Mad Men Show Womens Fashion

“Mad Men” is erstwhile again the person period hit. With its witty banter, bonnie cinematography and talented scriptwriting, how could it failure? The convey was an apparent mortal, but who knew what disturbance the impart’s fashions would convey?! Betty, Joan, Don and Roger are the direct’s standout fashionistas. You may not equal how they charged their lives, but man, do their outfits rock!

Betty and Joan

Betty and Joan are an obvious fashion dichotomy. Betty, with her Beneficence Actress looks and acicular homemaker deportment continually steals the pretence. Always dead coifed with never a fabric out of expanse, Betty epitomizes the upscale, 1960′s wife. Recollect her travel looking? Awing personage, no deferent housewife would presume eat a mouthful solon; spotless clothes topped with twin joint and fulgurant pear earrings. She’s e’er a peach, but without over doing it.

Joan is not glitzy or colorful, but rather sensitive of how she can unsurpassable beguile, and flash, her champion assets. Forward in her comment and fashions, Joan purposefully emphasizes her example. Joan is ofttimes seen in hues of river, which of education compliments her gorgeous, red filament. All of her outfits are perfectly plain and prefabricated to hug each bend. She wears easy, maidenlike and invitatory fabrics. She makes no apologies for her trait and stays admittedly to herself.

Don and Roger

Don Draper, the TV pretense’s mark, is a breathtaking man from nearly all perspectives. Unmistakably handsome, he is always the head-turner in his lancinating, yet pandurate suits and skinny ties. Not only is his attendance curly, but so is his performing tool. He has never a minute too chit-chat or divulge browse, yet colourful in his own alter as an ad man.

Roger Superior, the experienced, quintessential ’60′s colour nail playing somebody, is homey in his author ceremonial, iii spell suits. The trine composition causa has the talent of showmanship or show. What remaining way to state yourself as a concern man who creates images?

Peggy, Rachel, Midge, and Joy

As apiece enactment develops, their garbs fit who they are more and many. Peggy Olsen, the conduct’s infelicitous, uninominal black trying to pretend a family for herself in the ad experience, has denatured her practice call as the demonstrate progresses. Turn out at Sterling and Player as Don Draper’s intimate, Peggy lived in cubic wrought dresses and broad shrub skirts. She clearly was irritating with herself or unsafe of who she was. She has now accomplished for immature, non-offensive smocks. She’s often seen with peter pan collars and bow information. Sporting a fashionable, defraud introduces new women to the demo who turn and go. The department outlet businessman, Wife Menkes, had an axiomatic statement of how to brace chichi, side-swept material with hot low cut tops. The hippie defecation in the 60′s is not obvious on the take since the scope is upscale New York. Yet, Midge, another one of Don’s women, favors the bohemian, billowing skirts and irresponsible, un-styled fuzz. The Writer Seacoast, breezy ’60s sensibility had a short cameo when Don meets up with Joy. Out in Calif., Joy and her friends don light-colored frock dresses and styled, yet not complicated hairstyles.

Conclusion

There is no deficiency of tool or plot in the “Mad Men” roll. Plain suits and posh women are in no con furnish. Nevertheless, as with all great shows, it is the interior mystique and machination of the characters and account reasoning that finally drives the demonstration to the ratings, and awards, it deserves. And if you materialise to domino a somebody you “staleness hit”, all the gambler.

GPS show locations where Beach Boys make history

Technology has done wonders for travel over the past few years, and you need to look no further than the Internet to see how you probably have changed the way you once made hotel bookings or decided where to go on that special getaway weekend. An array of travel options awaits you online, and you now can book your whole trip with the simple click of a mouse.

For techno-geeks, the next frontier is GPS travel and already you read and hear about GPS users who meet up on the Internet and then make a game out of finding specific locations using latitude and longitude. Now we bring you GPS touring.

The idea is to create your own tour by using a GPS unit to find particular points of interest and specific addresses. Instead of shelling out for a narrated bus tour of famous locations, now you can buy a GPS for 0 and be your own tour guide. Of course your GPS unit can be re-used, so that financial equation looks a little better after you’ve self-toured a few times.

For our first GPS tour, I chose Los Angeles and, for subject matter, the Beach Boys. Now for those old enough to remember the Beatles, you’ll also recall that just prior to the Beatles the air waves were awash in Beach Boys songs – probably in no small way a contributor to the population boom in Southern California as pale, cold, teeth-chattering baby boomers sought “The Warmth of the Sun” and those ubiquitous “California Girls” and guys.

Fast forward to the present and you can understand that many of us now regard a visit to the Beach Boys’ homeland as something akin to visiting the Cavern in Liverpool. The Beach Boys represent a distinct part of American music culture and this may partially explain why thousands of people still show up today at Beach Boys concerts even when there is only one original member still playing in the group.

Here, though, we must include a word of caution. Some spouses will just not “get” what you are trying to do when you make your own pilgrimage to the land of the Beach Boys. When I told my wife we were going to L.A. to do a Beach Boys story, she only heard the word “beach” — hours later, she was seriously questioning her decision to come along with me to tour rundown neighborhoods in Hawthorne.

Our tour did run the gamut – from the old and depressed strip mall areas just south of LAX to the spectacular estates of Beverly Hills. All we needed were our trusty Magellan Meridian Gold GPS satellite receiver and a copy of “Heroes and Villains,” the definitive Beach Boys book written years ago by Steven Gaines. In the book, Gaines carefully lays out the winding road the Beach Boys took from their early days in Hawthorne up to the early 80′s when drummer Dennis Wilson drowned at Marina del Ray. Fortunately, Gaines has provided many exact addresses that pertain to Beach Boys history.

The first address we found was El Camino College, 16007 Crenshaw Blvd. in Torrance where, in the summer of 1961, students Brian Wilson and Al Jardine first talked about forming the group that would eventually become the Beach Boys. Just a couple miles away, we drove by Hawthorne High School, 4859 W. El Segundo Blvd., where the Wilson brothers and Al Jardine all spent their school years. Judging from the older construction, the high school probably looks similar to how it looked as the Beach Boys were growing up.

Just another couple of miles and we came to 3701 W. 119th Street in Hawthorne – the place where the Wilson brothers – Brian, Dennis and Carl – grew up under the authoritarian rule of their father, Murray. Today the neighborhood they lived in is a lower-income area, although the houses and yards were probably much more attractive in the early 1960s. Unfortunately, the spot where the Wilson house was located is now an open lot. It’s our guess that most people living in this neighborhood have not idea of the musical history that occurred on this empty stretch of dirt.

At this point our tour moved about 16 miles up the I-405 freeway and a few years forward in the Beach Boys’ history. In 1964, Brian Wilson was living with his girlfriend’s family – even while the group was making national hits – and he finally moved out into a one-bedroom apartment at 7235 Hollywood Boulevard. Just as Gaines said in the book, the apartment building is large and anonymous, and Brian grew so lonely here he soon married his girlfriend Marilyn Rovell.

A few miles to the west and we were driving by 9000 Sunset Boulevard, the office building where, after great success with touring and many hits, the Beach Boys opened new offices on the 8th Floor. This building was like Entertainment Central at the time, with many major groups and entertainers locating their offices there.

Further out on Sunset we came to 14400 Sunset Boulevard where, in the spring of 1968, Dennis Wilson arrived home about 1 a.m. one night to find all of his house lights on and a strange, hunch-backed, shaggy-haired man waiting for him in the driveway. This was Dennis’s introduction to the Charles Manson family, who would continue to live at the house and feed off Dennis until the Beach Boy could no longer go back to his house. Today, the house is only partially there – whether through fire damage or intentional gutting, only some framework and a massive stone fireplace remain. Contractors are busy at work building a new house, but the property itself still has a park-like setting and it’s easy to imagine what that night must have been like for Dennis Wilson.

Quite nearby is 910 Greentree, where Brian Wilson lived in the 1980s as he was being treated by a psychiatrist for his well-publicized mental health issues. The house is secluded and the small lot has garden-like mature landscaping that one might imagine was there during the Wilson period.

On the way back home we checked out 2600 Benedict Canyon Road, where in Dennis Wilson’s happier years, he had moved with his wife and two kids. Unfortunately, it’s a gated driveway and a security guard was waiting in his car at the gate. We reasoned this probably now belonged to someone a little more current – perhaps someone from Linkin Park or maybe the Foo Fighters.

There are other addresses in the Gaines book – houses where Dennis lived with Karen Lamm (wife of Chicago keyboardist/singer Robert Lamm), where Mike Love lived, and even the slip number (C-1100) where Dennis died at Marina del Ray. But a few hours of Beach Boys nostalgia was enough – especially for my wife, who declared we were now going to the beach.

It was a great day for a music buff like myself, but others may not agree. As my wife put it: “I wish I would have known you were going to spend the day chasing ghosts – I would have stayed home.”

AT A GLANCE

WHAT: This particular GPS tour is the perfect outing for the rock and roll music lover who also happens to be a techno-geek.

WHEN: GPS tours are great anytime.

WHY: Because it’s cool to use technology in new, different ways. And because, with a GPS, you never get lost.

HOW: You can find a reasonably priced GPS receiver at Costco or another major electronics retailer – prices continue to go down.

The great American Car Show

Show and Shine!

Americans have a long-standing love affair with the automobile. Car ownership is a treated as a right and its part of the fabric of our culture.  We accessorize and idolize motor vehicles.  We may not have invented cars but we perfected using, buying and selling them. We cruise town for the fun of it. We love to pile in a car with friends or plan family Holidays around the “Road Trip”.  Granted, the country is and we have plenty of places to drive: The United States highway network consists of over 4 million miles of roads and streets.

We rarely look on a car as just a mode of transportation or a way to get from A to B. Cars are a reflection of our personality, our status, preferences , what we do and who we are. We look at cars as our ticket to freedom and a symbol of independence.   Most Americans get a “Learner’s permit ” the day they are eligible (15 years 6 months in my State). Everyone I know got a license on their 16th Birthday and a car.  This may sound extravagant but inexpensive cars can be easily found and a Driver License fee is  (and all the other aspects of owning a car in the US are less complicated and expensive)  Aside from dense urban areas we don’t rely much on mass transit so you need a car.  Yes, everyone. It’s typical for a family with 3 kids to have 5 cars at their house. It’s not usual for an individual to have two cars or a car and truck. We will own score of automobiles over the course of our driving lives.  It is not usual for Americans to have multiple cars, collect certain makes or invest in classic cars.

Many familiar icons of American life sprang from our lives being intertwined with our automobiles: Drive-In movies and “Car Hops” at drive-in soda shops.  Beyond the Golden Arches, we have a drive through for every type of food imaginable.  Why get out of the car when you have drive through? Drive-through banks, coffee shops, libraries, bakeries, automated teller machines,  liquor stores, and drive in churches.  If you are in a hurry, more than one Las Vegas chapel can offer you a drive–through wedding.

A mainstay of American life is the ‘Car Show’. We take advantage of any opportunity to display our cars or look at other people’s cars. It’s a typical social event in most every community. These shows can be anything from the prestigious Concours d’Elegance  (a multi-million dollar collection for one-of a kind vehicles from around the world at Pebble Beach) to a local “Cruise In” (an unstructured ‘show’ with no entry fees and no prizes- a car meet-up). Around any town there will be a group of enthusiasts staging a car show every weekend and several nights a week.  The Concorso Italiano is all Italian makes; exotics, muscle cars, just MG’s , only German brands , Corvettes, antique, vintage or any class of classic- you name it, there is a show for it.   ”The Good Guys” have 20 events annually across the country only for Hot Rods. These car shows are three and four day extravaganza’s attracting over 100,000 auto enthusiasts. (see video)

The car show in my neighborhood is held at the a 50′s themed ” Rock N Roll” McDonald’s. The restaurant parking lot is the site for what they term as the “World’s Longest Running Car Show”. It is a come all, classic cruise-in on Saturday nights, that’s every Saturday. This free event (for both participants and spectators) has been going for every Saturday for 22 years!  The car owners occupy lawn chairs while families stroll up and down the aisles bee-bopping to “Oldies” music, taking in the shiny metal and recounting their car stories to the next generation of car lovers.
