Jersey Boys Tickets New York – Rock ‘n Roll on Broadway!

Jersey Boys tickets New York is becoming more and more difficult to obtain! The show made its world premier at the August Wilson Theatre here on November 6, 2005. The very first day, it made a phenomenal over 0,000 sale on the box office! This partly-concert and partly-jukebox musical, “Jersey Boys Broadway” is one of the biggest all-time hits on Broadway! It has already been almost two years, since the show opened for the first time in New York, and it is still going strong and that too in the same theatre! A remarkable feat to accomplish!

About The Play

Jersey Boys Broadway narrates the story of how the most popular rock ‘n roll band of the 1960s, “The Four Seasons” starts from the streets of Newark, with nothing but a dream to make it big one day, and their music to help them achieve that dream! This is a real story and it depicts all the struggles and hardships they had to face along the way. And this is the reason why the Jersey Boys Broadway show manages to touch each one of us at the very core of our being, like no other show on Broadway! People are buying repeat Jersey Boys tickets New York, because they are feeling inspired by the show. They are able to relate to the show.

Double Deal!

Get your Jersey Boys tickets New York now and get a “double deal!” The show is not only a play, it is also a kind of live Four Seasons concert! With the music given by Bob Gaudio himself, you will feel like you are transported back to the 60s! The enticing music will so engross you that you will soon find yourself dancing to the beats in the aisles between the seats in the theatre! The show features some of the hit tracks of Four Seasons, viz. “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Can’t Take My Eyes off You, “Oh, What a Night” and many more. The lyrics have been given by Bob Crewe and the Choreography has been done by Sergio Trujillo.

Among the actors, John Lloyd Young makes his Broadway debut as Frankie Valli, and also goes on to win a Tony for his performance. Christian Hoff plays Tommy DeVito, and wins a Tony too! Daniel Reichard, who plays Bob Gaudio, also makes his Broadway debut in Jersey Boys. And J. Robert Spencer, an actor and a comedian, gets to play his first starring role on stage as Nick Massi. So, as you can see, most of the lead actors of the show had relatively little or no prior experience on Broadway. And yet the show climbed some remarkable heights!

Believe me, this is one show you don’t want to miss for anything in the world! And I mean ANYTHING! Jersey Boys tickets New York rank amongst the highest in the most popular Broadway show tickets! The performers are getting standing ovations, night after night after night! You might actually find it difficult to obtain your own tickets for the Jersey Boys Broadway show. But you can always check online at an authorized ticket broker’s website. And you will be sure to get some tickets!

Rock and Roll and Payos. All about Jewish Singer-Songwriters

Rock and Roll and Payos. All about Jewish Singer-Songwriters

There’s a new music scene developing in Israel and spreading throughout the world. It’s got folk-rock roots and lyrics such “it’s fun to be a Jew.” It’s the new original Jewish music.

Jewish music was always around, and flourished in the 60′s with folk singers like Reb Shlomo Carlebach. The famous troubadour was a great performer and composer – but he wasn’t a songwriter. Like Carlebach, most Jewish musicians that were working until recently – only composed Verses from the Torah and did not write their own material. But in the last few years we see more and more Jewish musicians who turn into real singer-songwriters and write about their religious and daily lives as Orthodox Jews.

They say that the trend began with Adi Ran who started his musical career back in the 1990′s in Tel-Aviv’s underground bar scene. His songs were heavily critical, humorist and even anarchistic, influenced with punk music, Bob Dylan and Led Zeppelin. In 1993 Ran became a baal teshuva and got closer and closer to the Breslov Hasidim that dance around the streets of Tel Aviv and spread the word of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov.

But Ran’s music only got better and better. He kept his rock influence and humorist spirit (he’s got a song titled “It’s so fun to be a Jew) and began recording albums that can only be defined as Hasidic Underground. Today, Adi Ran leads the Jewish original alternative music, and proudly carries the title “the Rocker” of Jewish music. Adi Ran’s recommended albums are: Don’t Hit the Rock (“Al Takeh Basela”) and Nothing to Worry About (“Ma Yesh Lachem Lid’og”).

“You know what year it is?” asked me once the singer-songwriter Aaron Razel. “This is 5765″ he then said, “we’re in the 60′s of the Jewish people!” Razel was born in New York and grew up in Jerusalem. After his army service, he received a Master’s degree in Music and started making music in the city of Tsfat. Razel incorporates his own jewish driven texts with modern day music that is influenced by Israeli music, reggae, jazz, Funk and Rock. Razel’s recommended albums are Redemption Time (“Zman Hageula”) and Song of Zion (“Shir Tzion”).

Matthew Paul Miller, you might recognize him as Matisyahu, has brought the word outside of the gates Israel and Jewish people. His Hasidic Jewish reggae is a worldwide phenomena and a number 1 hit amongst all cultures and religions. Matisyahu’s music has a unique mix of rap, reggae and rock and in his songs and listeners can even find words in Hebrew and Yiddish.

Of course that it takes a lot of effort to keep things kosher as a Jewish star. Matishyahu for example, does not put his glasses on while he performs so he won’t see all the dancing ladies, and he has to keep his payos, hat and long beard – even when they’re not in the height of fashion.

Jewish inspired music is relatively new. But with the success of Matisyahu, we can anticipate musical growth and more artists hitting the scene. If you are interested to discover more about new Jewish music or get yourself a CD by one of the artists above, then visit www.Eichlers.com for a full catalog of original Jewish music. Rock ‘n Roll is a character from the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero toy line, comic books and cartoon series of the 1980s. He is the G.I. Joe team’s original machine gunner and debuted in 1982. His real name is Craig S. McConnel, and his rank is that of sergeant E-5 (later promoted to E-6). A surfer, weight lifter and bass guitar player from Malibu, the noise of machine gun fire is music to his ears.
Rock ‘n Roll’s primary military specialty is infantry, and his secondary military specialty is PT instructor. He is familiar with all NATO and Warsaw Pact light and heavy machine guns. He graduated from advanced infantry training (top of class), and received specialized education in covert ops school.
Rock ‘n Roll is cunning but naive, and forceful but shy. He possesses a strong sense of loyalty to his teammates and is sincerely concerned about their wellbeing. Rock ‘n Roll is a man of honor and integrity who can be counted on to hold the line.
In time, Rock ‘n Roll moved on from being a machine gunner to a gatling gunner.
Toy history
Rock ‘n Roll is part of the first group of characters in the 1982 G.I. Joe relaunch. His character is re-issued with a new action figure design in 1989 with a slight name change to Rock & Roll, however, his file card’s content continued to maintain the code name Rock ‘n Roll. The name change is temporary as the next few editions of his action figure all used the Rock ‘n Roll name. The character also became part of Super Sonic Fighters and Star Brigade sub-lines.
Fiction
Animated series appearance
Rock ‘n Roll first appeared in the animated A Real American Hero mini-series.
Marvel Comics
In the Marvel comics G.I. Joe series, he first appeared in issue #1, along with the rest of the original team. He participates in the rescue of nuclear physicist and noted peace activist Adele Burkhart from a minor Cobra facility. Adele is rescued safely, only suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm.
Rock ‘n Roll is featured in the Joes’ second recorded adventure. He, Snake-Eyes, and Scarlett are far behind enemy lines and low on ammunition. Needing to get valuable info back to friendly territory, Scarlett orders both of them, at gunpoint, to run to the rendezvous, leaving her to fight a rearguard action. As they jog through the desert, Rock ‘n Roll begs Snake-Eyes to be allowed to go back to help Scarlett, but finds he is talking to empty air as Snake-Eyes already has left.
Rock ‘n Roll finishes his mission, then steals a Joe motorcycle. He arrives just in time to kill another wave of enemy soldiers and rescue his friends. Reinforcements endanger all three, until General Hawk, bending orders himself, arrives in the VAMP in time to save them.
A flashback reveals that around this time, Rock ‘n Roll is part of the mission where, due to a helicopter crash, Snake-Eyes loses his ability to speak.
The Joe team manages to capture Cobra Commander for a time, and Rock ‘n Roll is assigned to be one of his guards; however, the Cobra ninja Storm Shadow rescues the Commander. Some time after, Rock ‘n Roll and the other original thirteen Joes save for Snake-Eyes and Hawk, are taken off field duty. While on leave and headed for Malibu, Cobra mercenaries called Dreadnoks run Rock ‘n Roll’s classic 1956 Bel Air Nomad off the road. He and his two friends, Clutch and Breaker are injured. Spotting the Dreadnoks while in an ambulance, Rock ‘n Roll commandeers the vehicle and chases them down, resulting in the capture of the Dreadnok, Buzzer.
He would later be featured in a multiple-issue storyline where he and Clutch find the Cobra-owned town of Broca Beach. Rock ‘n Roll realizes the Broca Beach police are Cobra agents by a ring they sport. They are recognized as Joes and captured by the Dreadnoks. They are brainwashed by the Baroness, using an old device left behind by the evil scientist Doctor Mindbender. The two later escape.
They team up with Canadian police officers to destroy a Cobra distribution facility in Canada. Broca Beach is read from documentation, causing odd headaches with the pair.
In a later attack on a Joe facility, the Baroness manages to activate the duo’s hypnotic suggestions, which was to kill and destroy. Unknown to the Baroness, Rock ‘n Roll and Clutch were minding…(and so on) To get More information , you can visit some products about Used Welding Machine, magnetic rowing machine, . The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

There is a weird and wonderfully shaped building known as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum. It isn’t in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles or Memphis. The building is sited in the home of rock and roll, which is….Cleveland Ohio. The ultra modern building is part of the city’s North Coast harbor, has seven floors and has entertained more than 7 million visitors since opening in 1995, so what ‘s it all about?

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation was created in 1983. At first the foundation had no base; New York City was an obvious choice as was Memphis, but Cleveland was the venue for the first ever Rock and Roll concert, the Moon Dog Coronation Ball (held in 1952) and as a result Cleveland was chosen as the venue for the Hall of Fame’s museum.

The building itself is a fascinating piece of modern architecture, a glass tower with a pyramid sprouting from it which was originally planned to be 200ft high. The building is actually 162 ft tall with a base of 150,000 square feet. The design was reduced in height due to the proximity of Burke Lakefront Airport.

Every year a number of artists and others are ‘inducted’ into the Hall of Fame in a ceremony usually held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York. Groups and individuals qualify for induction only if they have had a significant influence on the history of rock and roll and it is at least twenty five years since their first record was released. But there are no guarantees.

Almost every year there is some controversy over who has, and who has not been inducted, possibly because there are several categories and the voting and selection process for each category varies. So how do you get into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

The most obvious category is that of performer. Nominations are by committee and a number of candidates are selected. 500 rock experts then vote and nominees with the highest number of votes and more than 50% of the ballot are inducted. For all categories other than performer (non performers, early influences and lifetime achievement) the vote is taken by special committee. It is this lack of transparency in the decision on who to induct that has lead to criticism. While many of the artists appear to accept induction as an honor others are openly scathing. In 2006 the Sex Pistols refused to attend their induction ceremony and called the whole organisation a ‘piss stain’

As many of inductees fall into more than one category (many performers for example are also song writers and producers) and since both individuals and groups can be inducted, it is possible to be inducted more than once and in different years, the outstanding example being Eric Clapton who has been inducted three times, once for the Yardbirds (1992), once for Cream (1993) and once for his solo career (2000).

Once inducted, each artist is honoured in the museum with an exhibit which features every song (if a performer) an etched glass signature, a film of their life and career and a display of artefacts.

For 2010 the performer inductees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are Abba, Genesis, Jimmy Cliff, the Hollies and the Stooges.

If you plan in future to rank along side these rock legends, how about some rock guitar lessons and a spot of practice?

Corporate Advertising Breathes New Life into Classic “Rock and Roll”

Corporate Advertising Breathes New Life into Classic “Rock and Roll”

Whether it’s Led Zeppelin’s “Rock and Roll” playing to the baby boomer generation on behalf of General Motors or Mountain’s “Mississippi Queen” helping to set the tone for a steamy Budweiser commercial, corporations are turning to well known rock anthems to help push their ad campaigns.

Classic rock is nothing new to the advertising industry. The Beatles “Revolution” was one of the first examples of an instantly recognizable refrain featured in a major ad campaign for Nike. The success of that campaign seemed to open the floodgates for product manufacturers taking consumers on a well-received trip down memory lane. Apparently, everything old is new again.
So, why the sudden interest in tracks that are well past their prime? In all likelihood, a combination of factors contributes to the tenable use of songs that have been part of our musical landscape for decades. Certainly the generational appeal to those who experienced their golden years during the 60’s and 70’s can’t be overlooked, but other considerations are equally plausible.

The once mighty classic rock radio format has become less and less popular in recent years as younger listeners lean understandably toward a more modern play list. The result of this shift can be seen in a generation almost completely unfamiliar with classic rock stalwarts that older generations are often overly familiar with. Advertisers are keenly aware that the standards of the era can not only induce nostalgia in older demographics, but also invoke curiosity from younger demographics as well. Interest in the music used for a commercial, no matter who it comes from, can easily lead to interest in the products being advertised.

In some cases, the song itself serves a greater purpose than to merely supply background noise for product visuals. A recent ad for Volkswagen featured a parked car with a young driver miming robotically to the infamous Styx tune “Mr. Roboto”. Only when the door to the car is opened do viewers hear the campy strains of the million selling single. The ability to enjoy this guiltiest of pleasures without others being aware is meant to extol the virtues of Volkswagen’s engineering excellence that results in a quiet ride. While the purpose of using that particular song may have been lost on many, the inclusion of it made for a popular ad.

Whether or not the trend toward classic rock in advertising will continue is anyone’s guess. While there are almost an unlimited number of potential hits to choose from, licensing considerations keep many of the most popular offerings off the table. Considering that advertisements may be the only way that younger generations might gain exposure to arguably some of the greatest music of the past century, using classic rock songs for marketing seems less like a sell out and more like an opportunity to introduce the music of the past to the consumers of the future.

Rock`n Roll To The Home Business With Effective Keywords

Rock`n Roll To The Home Business With Effective Keywords

Do you want to be on the first place with your home business site on the search engines result page? I am sure your answer is yes, because the number one site gets around 60 % of all clicks from that page. Now the job is to find out ways how to climb to that place. The key is to think like the customer of the search engine.

The job of the search engine is to produce the result page, which fits best to the information request the searcher has done. So it must have the criterias for the best page, for the second best page etc. By researching the top pages, we have learnt these criterias, despite of the fact that the engines will change them all the time.

The angle, which the engines use, is the popularity angle, i.e. if other sites link to a certain site, they in a way vote for this site, and this means that they are popular and useful for other sites. These links must be related and from high quality, i.e. popular sites. So the more backlinks the site has, the higher the search engine will place it. These offpage factors represent around 90 % of the ranking factors.

So do all keywords offer the same kind of opportunity to rank high? No and this is very important. Different home business keyowords offer very different chances for the high page rank, so we have to make a decent keyword research with a quality software.

The criterias for an effective home business keyword is that it is related to your topic, has enough daily searches and that your home business site can beat the top site as to the amount of backlinks. You see, the high search engine ranking is a competition about the best place, you really have to win the present leader. And before you can do that you have to know, why the leader is the leader?

You can start the research from the onpage research. If the top site has done that poorly, that can be one of your chances. The keywords should be placed in the title, subject, keyword list, alt tags and all over the copy. These keywords should then be used in the anchor texts of the written articles. These anchor texts will make the article and the landing page related and then raise the site higher on the result page.

But other home business keywords are more competed than the others, how can you find out those and pick the best ones? Ok, there are softwares, which have the so called KEI figure for each of the home business keywords. This indicates the ratio between the demand and the supply, i.e. makes it possible to find a low competition, but high demand keywords.

It is wise to start the keyword research by entering some very general keyword, like home business, into the software. Now the program will produce a lot of related keywords of which you will select the best ones according to the KEI figure. Note, that you will need tens or maybe hundreds of keywords, because the keywords will loose their power every now and then.

When you have started to raise your home business site higher on the result page, you can very easily follow the development. One of the best ways is to write optimized articles and to distribute them widely online. Now the effect of this system can be checked maybe once a week. You will also see the effect of the competition. Maybe some other webmaster has seen the same opportunity, which means heavier competition.

If you think long term, the useful and fresh content, which responds to the needs of the visitor, is the best way to get backlinks, because then other home business entrepreneurs see your site so interesting that they will bookmark it, which is an ideal way.
